Morning of Tuesday the 4th, the Yeast appeared to be Floating on the Surface of the Batch Dead. So I Sprinkled in another Package of Yeast and give the Batch a Stir.

Morning of the 5th, I checked it and it is Fermenting Away.

All is going according to Plan!

But having to give it a Double Dose of Yeast will make it a somewhat Cloudy Batch with a lot of Yeast in it.

Awens to All:

Yesterday Morning while Playing EG, I Broadcast to all a Blow by Blow Story of how I put on a Batch of Blueberry Juice to Ferment that is Spiced with Cloves, Cinnamon Sticks and Vanilla Herbal Tea.

This Morning, the Yeast has Foamed Up quite nicely.

Just made a American Cream Ale, dryhopped for seven days with Cascade hops.

Fairly smooth, although I don't think I am a big fan of cream ales in general, even with the extra aromas from dryhopping.

My brewing mate and I just made a Brewhouse Kit IPA, with some medium crystal malts steeped in 4L of water which was added to the wort. We're "hacking" the brewhouse kit to make an extra special bitter, English style.

Good For You! I wish I could get a Taste!

I Racked my latest Batch of Spiced Peach Cider from the Primary Fermenter to the Primary Carboy yesterday morning. The Dregs Tasted Promising!

Since I can not Play EG right now, I may as well make some Booze.

Put on a Peach Cider with Cinnamon Sticks in it.

Safeway stopped Selling the Blueberry Juice that I liked making Booze out of, so I have not made a Blue Berry Cider in over 6 Months now.

And I can not find any store that Sells Frozen Concentrate Apple Juice anymore, so I have not been able to make one of my Spiced Apple Ciders for a long time too.

Sounds like you make some good beer. Im going to be starting making my own beer soon :)

Last Night, I put on 18L of Spiced Apple Juice to Ferment.

Took a Picture of it this Morning showing the Yeast being Lively and Foaming Up:

Its Alive!!! We Is Gonna Get Booze!!!


Initial Hydrometer Reading is 1.025 which indicates it is going to be about 3.75% Alcohol.

Maybe should have added an Extra Cup of Brown Sugar.

Just finished Bottling Up my Spiced Apple Cider and now enjoying some of my Home Brew.

Bought a Home Brew Beer Kit yesterday and will probably be putting it on to Ferment shortly.
